18" x 12" x 3" carved wood bas relief sculpture, titled "St. Peter".  Carved from a section of a wooden beam (douglas fir, I believe) rescued from a barn that stood for over 100 years in central Iowa.  This is one of a limited run (four of these were made) that was crafted from sections of this historic beam.  

Hand rubbed with linseed oil and wax, this beautiful piece will certainly stand out amongst your collection.
